Verhängnis, I have decompiled the classfile and there is an error in the call up of the weaponslots it seems:

a_lweaponslot[1] is called two times in succession, instead of  [ 0 ] and then [ 1 ].
the same for the J8M3.

actually, J8M-model 21 (read also J8M2) is a navy version with only 1 cannon.

EDIT: just tested the a_lweaponslot thing... 0  and 1 does nothing, sorry, still firing only from the right hand side. strange bug....

How to fix ki-202 ground start/external view problem:

1. Go to 3do->plane->J8M3
2. open the hier.him with notepad
3. find the line:
[CF_D0]
Mesh CF_D0
Parent _ROOT_
Attaching 0 1 0   0 0 1   1.345 0 0 0 2.01494 0 0.39371
4. Change it to:
[CF_D0]
Mesh CF_D0
Parent _ROOT_
Attaching 0 1 0   0 0 1   1.345 0 0 3 0.01494 0 0.39371

Both guns are firing, I assure you, however some bug only makes the guns show one tracer, so it may be missing hooks.

I noticed that too. your classfile is full of strange stuff that looks like "leftovers" - PM sent

here is my personal edit of the J8M1 classfile, it fires now from both sides, no other changes.
just replace the one that comes with the download on page 1.

***removed, Verhängnis will update post 1

Verhängnis, feel free to include it in your D/L if you want.

Hm! Great. Have no bugs noticed, but maybe you could repair how the Ki-202 appears in the aircraft-costumisation-window it looks so big and flat...
But thats actually no real problem.

Next step could be a cockpit repaint with japanese instruments and reticle ;)

LOL... Batbomb, that's a "feature".

the Ki-202 is a enlagred version, somewhat stretched airframe for more fuel capacity. And insted of building all new 3d, Verhängnis just streched the Me-163 model.... call it a special form of "Frankenplane"
