Political?
« on: July 11, 2011, 09:51:12 AM »

I just want to state a opinion, of my opinion.... ::)  ehhh I have never seen or read anything from Siteadmins offending other people public. In fact I did not know of any gossip lurking around either. Please do not start a debate on a locked topic here or elsewhere, I just want to support this site as a manytime visitor everyday, I really cannot say how High my regards are towards : Cirx, Anto, Storebror, Crazyflak,Birdman, Riken and all modders contributing to this fine site. I have the highest regards of Beowolf also for his work that we sadly will loose here, and sad to hear about his health.
My point is, if I has not noticed this shocking neews as a very often visitor it must have been because of a very proffesional staff .

I hope despite of my bad english you fine people know what I am trying to say.

If not, it can be put in other words, SAS rules! Cheers  ;D ;D

...very proffesional staff .

Says it all. SAS maintains the most professional tone of any forum I read, and the hard work of all the site admins to maintain that is appreciated and laudable. Thanks to them all, and thanks for a good post Le0ne.

I like what SAS represents. I like the mods and enjoy seeing the work done here.

The political crap? all this aaa(s), sas, ultra, modders I don't like, TD crap gets posted and splattered here by admins all the time, and that part I hate. Reading that stuff honestly makes me think that some of these people are the most childish, hypersensitive and pathetic individuals in existence. (I know you ALL are not, it's some kind of internet disease to act like a child in a message board)

I usually read it quickly, sigh and move on to the good part: the modders and their hard work. I don't care for the cheerleading over the drama of the week, tainan, TD, what mr jolly did years ago, the ubizoo...who cares. please grow the hell up. I don't know the full story so I'm not going to act like a member of some tribe with a torch.

I work everday with people I can't stand to put pilots in the air and get them back alive. We put aside our differences and get the job done. it's important. we also have a policy of not kissing each other's ass, sucking up to the boss or bringing our problems home. Though sadly, every rule gets broken.

Well said all!  Thank you to SAS1946 for representing an island of sanity in a sea of loony atitudes.  Elsewhere on the net, you are right back in the asylum!

yeah, thats the meaning of what I wrote. The 'adult' thing is to think and read before you post. Especially if your dealing with a sensitive issue. This doesn't always happen and thats human.

I think what makes this site truly special is the way that the vast amount of politics is kept well and truly behind the scenes, i for one had no idea of the recent political turmoil until it spilled into the public arena, don't get me wrong when it does appear in public i do read the posts and it is sometimes interesting to get a peek back stage but as already stated its a mark of the proffesional attitude amongst the admin here that keeps us all happily browsing and enjoying the site without over exposure to the politics, in fact it would seem to me that these things only become public when someone decides to do his 'shakespeare' bit and jump up on the public stage with his 'to be or not to be' speach and even then the staff here deal with it quickly and informitively so that those reading it get the full picture and from all sides. Something else with which i'm impressed with is the restraint amongst us the ordinary member guests who as a majority read, observe and refrain from involvement leaving it those who are directly involved in whatever the situation maybe, i've seen on other sites not il-2 ones i must add where a situation has developed into all out war with every one trying to get their penny's worth in whether it was their bussiness or not! the restraint here among members is admirable and a reflection on the great little community we have here at SAS!!
