Ki-201 Karyu *update v2*
« on: July 11, 2011, 11:48:14 AM »

"I am the god of hellfire and I bring you......"

fire!

my "hack" of a Nakajima Ki-201 Karyu (fire dragon)

http://www.gamefront.com/files/20543121/plane_Ki_201v2_zip   *v2: new and improved FM*

edit Gerax: Ki-201 v2 Mediafire download link added:
https://www.mediafire.com/?la45gajicrrunbs

air.ini:
Ki-201        air.KI_201 2                               ja01   DESERT

this is a simple hack of a Me-262A2-a... expect nothing fancy except new loadouts and a new FM (DiffFM)
made and tested in DBW
it brings a PACIFIC and DESERT standard skin which should be standard on pacific maps.

default is 2x 30mm Ho155 (120 rpg)
2x 250 kg J-style + 2x Ho155 (80 rpg)
2x Ho5 20mm (150 rpg)

the plane weighs more and has less power than a Me-262. It needs reeeeeaaaaaallllly long runways. But once in the air you can do some serious Bomber hunting.

Does this have its own slot?

there is a textfile that contains the lines for air.ini, yes, has it's own slot.

the engines are modified Jumos, with reduced thrust, Ne-230, 8.7 kN

v2 posted. I worked on the FM a bit. Now the performance is better (not "pushed" though!)

especially the lift and thrust values needed adjustment.

Great work! Thanks. I'll check it out this weekend.

This was one on my wishlist. Now if anyone could come up with the one that actually did fly... the Nakajima Kikka.

Just a small change and they work in 409 !
It's the same for his "brothers" : Ki-202 & J8M

Works nice !
Thanks !
