About my Kongo/Haruna BB models, I confuse now.

lines occur many and many problem.

But I can't decide which scene, which ship makes this problem.

I made a mission that main cannons battle between Kongo x2 vs Iowa x2 - no warning lines.
I made a mission that main cannons battle between Haruna x2 vs Iowa x2 - no warning lines.
Between Kongo and Haruna vs Iowa x2 - warning lines exist.

That seems to .... the scene is limited both Kongo and Haruna in one camera.
What?
I can't understand.
When Kongo has the problem, only Kongo makes lines... I think... but no.
When Haruna has the problem, only Haruna makes lines... I think... but no.
Both Kongo and Haruna are required.

Someone knows why are these ?

The only times I have seen these error messages is when there is a problem with the shadow meshes.

First thing is to ensure that in Max the shadow meshes have a single material applied.
The material type does not matter but there must be only one.

If there is still a problem it may be that the shadow mesh is too big.

I also thought shadow meshes have problems,
and today I erase all the shadow meshes from Kongo and Haruna in text.

But those WARNINGs are still shown.
Shadow meshes are not causing, I find.

Umm...
At last, some real polygons are too complex.
I need more time to solve it.

In HSFX6 I can see it in the FMB but it disappears when i play the mission...and the class files make other ships disappear too...
Maybe one day you will get it into this too...!!??

Hi FabianFred,

Are you using HSFX6? If so: maybe I have a workaround for you.
I found that for whatever reason the [strength_HullMedium] doen's work anymore.
I am running 4.11.1 and ships disappearing as well. All the ships that had parts with [strength_HullMedium] did not show up in game (they did in FMB preview screen)
Solution: edit you ships.ini and check which ships have parts containing this: strengthBasedOnThisSection strength_HullMedium.
Replace by Hullmedium with HullLarge (or small if you'd like them to sink easier) and voila: no more issues.

Ofcourse backup your ships.ini before editing first; maybe HSFX has other issues..

I have Kongo, Haruna and Nagato installed in HSFX6 with no apparent problems when used in missions. The installation instructions are a little more involved than most ships though.

Which other ships did you find to have disappeared?

Japanese destroyers... russian submarines ...that I noticed in the mission i was trying to place Kongo in..
and in another mission some ships didn't even show in the FMB.
It works Ok with the fix to change the Hull_medium ....but that is not ideal as you know.

I have to agree with Asheshouse I have Kongo and Nagato without issues in my HSFX6.

Chk if you have any mod that alters ships properties and is not compatible with 4.11.1;
Maybe some of these mods is the culprit and not these ships.

I have checked my install with Kongo, Haruna, Nagato, Nagato along with various IJN destroyers and have no problem with them running in missions.

Only text entries for these are in ships.ini and chief.ini (other text entries not done yet)
Both ships.ini and chief.ini are copied from HSFX6_root/files into HSFX6_root/MODS/STD

If you copy a ships.ini from an earlier install into MODS/STD you will have problems.
