Unlimited Ammo with Limited Bombs and Rockets

Hi mates,

this is some old modworx from my poison cabinet, brought to IL-2 4.10.1m by user request.
This mod eliminates unlimited ammo for bombs and rockets, so when you select unlimited ammo for your mission, it only applies to guns.

This mod is compatible with IL-2 4.10.1m SAS Modact and Dark Blue World (and likely HSFX, untested), it is not valid for UP3.

You can find the mod for download here:

Unlimited Ammo with Limited Bombs and Rockets v2.0

To install and use, just unzip the folder "000000_Unlimited_Ammo_with_Limited_Bombs_and_Rockets" from this package to your "#DBW", "#SAS" or "MODS" folder according to your game type.
If you installed v1.0 before, please remove the old folder "Unlimited_Ammo_with_Limited_Bombs_and_Rockets" from your "#DBW", "#SAS" or "MODS" folder according to your game type.

This is v2.0, a vastly simplified successor of v1.0 with less incompatibilities regarding existing mods ;)

Just a quick bug I found while flying JapanCat's A6M2N Late, the cannons ran out (SASModAct 3.06). Still, this is a great mod. Many thanks Storebror!

is there a possibility to make it the old way ? Like if i want to just blow up a complete city/bomber formation  ;)
to still have unlimited bombs and rockets ?
I have not tried it out yet (not at home) but it sounds great especially if you got to bomb smthin and you being attacked :) Thanks

 ???....err.....yes, just don't use this mod, and you will have it the old (stock) way...... :D
sorry, i don't want to sound sarcastic, but it sounds like a pretty silly question, unless you were meaning something that i didn't catch.... :)

He probably meant unlimited bombs and rockets but limited gun ammo. :D

milantarik, whatever your idea behind may be, may I take the liberty to point you to my initial post of this thread where I'm referring to my poison cabinet?
In terms of modding, you could as well have a mod where with a single keystroke (or even without that) you beam a 10kt nuke into every enemy object of whatever type or let's say cut a hole with 2m diameter in the center of each of it. Fun anyone? I don't think so.
