I'm told the nearest cinema is Heinsberg. It's about 3.5miles from the franco-german border. It's about 300miles and will cost me exactly £63.30 according to google. I shall begin making preparations!

Sarcasm aside, I'm pleased for the Germans. I mean, being able to see it is better than not, and if it were held up because of issues surrounding german history (I've no idea), the that they've got around / over these is also good. Can't say I've seen the film, not entirely my cup of tea really.

I have seen the movie on-line, but if I had the opurtunity I would also see it in the cinema.
It´s an airplane movie set in WW2 !  8)  Those types of movies don´t come around every month or year.

I dont think that it were history "problems" which delay the movie. Germany has no problem with war movies, even if the german are the perfect NAZI ARIER PROTOTYP ...........or Zombies.

I believe there was just no distributor. ITs strange sometimes............the Movies "Soloman Kane" (nice one) and The Hole are annoucend on rotten tomatoes for a late 2012 cinema release in north americe. Both movies are avaible in german video / dvd stores for over a year
