Cheers Baders, PM sent ;)

Below is a labeled image of Rabaul showing some of the more notable areas.  Keen allied flyers and mission makers may be interested to know that at the period represented, this small area contained upwards of 375 anti-aircraft guns, plus the combined firepower of around 70 ships...   ???

I'm looking forward to this map. As I understand, it covers only the area of Rabaul, with no allied airfields to start from?

Green Island is included.  There's some shots of it about mid way through the thread.  It's the nearest allied base and about 40 minutes flying time away.

Working hard to improve the textures for the active and extinct volcanoes.  Needs some tweaking but I'm pleased with the result so far.  Hope you like it too!

Hi Bee,

Wasn't there a mission set a looooonng time ago at M4T where someone made active/live volcanos

I just remember seeing an in game picture of an SBD flying over an active volcano.

It is an old set of missions I recall.

With the effects now a days I am sure something better could be made.

I like it the way it is now very much.
I'm afraid smoke-belching volcanoes would kill my FPS.
