curving roads

I love this winded roads, its worth the effort to put the waypoints by hand.  :)

Hmm, yes looks more realistic and is no prob when you want to make small missions!
But when you want to create a complex road traffic as in DCG which includes sometimes almost all roads of a map, then it will somewhat complicated!
So I prefer the old style . . . of course IMO!

This map it is beautiful and looks like is real for sure and not can i wait to fly at map, when i do create for me my maps i do try so hard to maked for them they can look like is real and much hard work is applied at textures and also at populate to created this effect. Now if the roads they did remain IL-2 straight roads then for sure all of this hard work will achieved nothing because map it will not look like is real and so i can imagine that Bee like is me did spent many, many hours of pain to created roads to look like is real and i would to expect him a mission maker who do wants to create for them a mission like is real to also spent many hours of pain to put in vehicle waypoints.

This extra effort by map makers and also by mission makers is what gives to the game this feel of being real, Blumax he did teached to me this when first i did begin to retextured maps, is first lesson.

Crikey, twenty pages.  Sorry its taken me so long!

Luckily Rabaul in late 1943-44 wasn't known for its bustling motorways and fleets of vehicles.  I'm hoping the good will outweigh the bad with regards to the curving roads.

Its more a technical reason . . .
You must met a certain distance (at least 150m) between each waypoint in order that DCG accepted the track! Otherwise, the vehicles can not fully travel the route later in the campaign!
In curves the waypoints must closer together so I cant use all your efforts fully in this kind of campaign . . .
Its just a hint from me for future maps with more roads like this!
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to the map about an important area of the PTO! :)

Glad you're still with us.  Got our top man on the job doing the takeoff and taxiways at the moment.  It's a bugger of a job, but its saving the day.

That's excellent news mate. I still hope to get a South West Pacific package together one day which would include your map.
