Hang in there fellas!
Been working my guts out on it. Below is a list of the final tasks. Those marked with an * have been completed just recently.
*Adjust blast shelter colour
*Resolve Green Island heights
*Remove pale blotch from elements texture
*Fix Matupi shape and causeway
*Take screens for release.
*Do Nav map adjusments
*Resolve Bumph at Lakunai
*Do Namatanai airfield
*Index all textures
Check Forest textures are in right spot
Bundle map with mod files
Create readme (hardest bit)
Below is a shot of the last airfield, Namatanai on the east coast of New Ireland. When a large raid was detected approaching the Rabaul area, bomber and transport aircraft from the surrounding fields would get priority to scramble and head here or to Kavieng to get out of the way. I very nearly left this airfield alone, having no information to fall back on. After reading via pacificwrecks.com that the original field is still operational today, I thought what the heck and used flash and google earth for reference. I think it'll do. Hope you like it.
