RGB color does not affect performance.
Inside the engine is working in RGB color.
But it is a matter of taste ..... :)

Yes all carmaster is trying to say is that the indexed 1024x2 textures that vpmedia uploaded aren't quite as good as Bee's original 2048x2 RGB textures which provide the user a little more color depth with little effect on performance,but it's really up to the user on which version he or she uses.
