I used to play with "perfect" landscape setting but since UP3 when I try to select "perfect" in Landscap option Perfect is greyed out and not selectable. Any idea of why is this happening?
Also the different colour of the water (light blue, dark blue...) is only noticeable in Perfect mode?

About "perfect" mode...do you've set HardwareShaders to 1 in config.ini?

It was not set to 1 before but it is now and I still can't select PERFECT, neither the water changed his colour. Any idea?

... you also must have "Stencil buffer" ON

Still no go. Perfect is not selectable. Is there anything I'm doing that don't let me select the "Perfect" option? OpenGl, DirectX or something like that?

RD, it's got to be something simple you're overlooking mate...all the relevant factors are covered in the previous replies.
are you changing the correct entry in conf.ini? you must be setting the OpenGL section entry, NOT the directx one.
also check your il2set.exe, just in case you have something wrongly set up there.
as said, it has to be on OpenGL.
this is il2 101 stuff, bud...thought you'd breeze through this with your eyes closed...

edit: if you still don't come right, then post your con.ini here for us, using the # (insert code) option.

I was in DirectX mode, changed to OpenGL all works flawless now. Thanks a lot.
