Sorry OberstDanjeje,

But you sounded so positive that I hated to burst your bubble. But, no installing DiffFm doesn't work, and believe me when I say that I've tried every thing that I know to fix this problem. I was wrong about the dates involved, I d/l the P47n around 10/10/2011, so my Il2 1946 has been off line for just about 3 weeks! I already had the Diff Fm mod installed in the mod folder. I also put the P47n in the mod folder.
Still I kept (keep) getting the 60% crash? WTH? I did correct the problem by editing out the p47 entry in the .air config file by adding 2 // in front of the P47n entry, and the game works with out the P47n. As soon as I remove the // from in front of the p47n entry in the .air file, boom!, the game crashes! I did manage after about 2 hours of dinking around to "get up" to a 70% crash, so I'm making progress? I (in desperation) moved ALL of my mods out of the mods folder, and only had the p47n and the diff-fm mods there, and STILL it crashes?! 

Just to make sure that I have done this correctly, here are the mods as I see them in the mods folder...

Do these installations look ok to you guys? 

I prefer to use the "E:" drive because my son has a number of programs on the "C:" drive, and yes Il2 runs (well it did!) just fine.


So now it would appear that I have a faulty mod some where in the mods folder, or a mod "some-where" that clashes with the P47n! Sigh! Before I d/l this P47 my il2 was running fairly well.
So I have a choice of slowly and painfully going through each mod, and TRY and figure out what mod is causing the problem, OR, rein-stalling il2 from scratch again!    

Either choice involves a lot of drudge work, with the hope of flying the P47n, I hope its worth it! Thanks for your advice and your qwik response!

As Epervier said you messend your folder structure.
In this folder:
_air_P-47N-15 101tfs V2.1
you should see the class files and the 3do folder

What I did was to rename my MODS folder to -MODS, and  put the DiffFm and P47N files in the SAS folder and it worked!
Why the files worked like that is beyond me, I'm just glad that they worked! Thanks to you guys for your suggestions and help, I appreciate it! 

So from about 8PM (CST) I was  LOVING THAT NEW P47n! Yes!!! I was making mince meat out of a bunch of late model IJAAF fighters over Japan with this new Thunderbolt! Yeah!!

Now I have to figure out why there are NO engine sounds for the new P47, then I will have the total p47n experience! When I "fly" the P47n, there is a faint high pitched whine in the cockpit, and during the fly-by (F3), Hmmmm?

Hello, I´m a newbie on mod for il2 and i´m looking for some help.
I have just install P47N-15 on a il2 1946 patched to 4.10.1m, whit UP 3.0 RC4, and the need DIff file to run new machines.

Had no problem installing it, updated the air.ini,  installed the folders in #UP# correctly, started the game, no 60%, 70% game load out error, and then that I wanted try it on QMB for a ride, but it just loads the map, no aircraft just the map, with the player in a static position, the game runs normally, i can exist the mission.

Anyone, was a idea about this (possible) Bug?

Really appreciate this Aircraft, Thanks very much 101tfs for all the hard work 

As separate Mod, have you considered "porting " the prop+spinner to the standard P47-D and -27 models, also the -30 uses the older 3D model

After using this lovely N, model the others are now really a bit ugly in that department and far from accurate, I have no idea how hard this would be, or if just a matter of putting the files in the correct folder structure for the other P-47D's, i had an attempt but i am NO modder so i ask the experts if this would be possible and easy.
