I need to install it on my 4.101 installation!

If I understand right I must to add the mod in the mod folder , then delete the bell classfile , after add the SAS folder classfile and last the air lines....
Here is for the 409 version!
Installation is simpler because the 3 helicopters are in external Mods!

For the installation of 410 is different!
Like so many different versions existing 410!
- 4.10/4.101 + ModAct
- UP3/DBW
- ...

The question to ask is the 3 helicopters are they already included in my game?
Yes!
- I add Mod HeliAI_410 in the folder (#UP# or #DBW or ...) and add the lines in the air.ini .

No!
- I can group the three helicopters in a single folder that I also add the Mod HeliAI_410 and add the lines in the "air.ini".
- Files "BELL" and "HRS3" of Heli Mod must be replaced files "BELL" and "HRS3" existing!

... but one request, can it be fixed to use the sound mod for the originals ? ( I think located in the FX section ) as i've grown rather fond of my Helicopters sounding like actual whirlybirds ( tested and it works with original helicopters only ) - and thanks, this is a much needed modification.
Google mistranslated your words! So I understood nothing!
I will assume ...

- The "Mod sounds for helicopters" is comprised of files for the "Mod Bell" sounds using the R-1340.
The H19 and HRS-3 call sounds WC-R1820 (if I remember correctly).
- For the Hxxx use the same sounds that Bell must modify the FM file (HRS3).

This is what you want?
It is the wish of one... or more?
I have to test before...

With the standard ( not AI ) Helicopters I "patched it" using this sound mod : https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,8866.0.html by George Formby of the AVG  ( Kick ass Helicopter sounds!! thread in Soundz/Motors section of this forums ) which works really well with both the HRS3 & the H19D standard ( 4.09m separate mods ) but it doesnt work with the AI version helicopters, is there a way to correct this so it works with the AI versions too ? ( basically a request to make the AI helicopters use the same sound mod instead of the R-1340 ) - sorry for the confusion, Bob

Testing Report  for Friday, September 16, 2011 / 19:27 hours:

Bell47           air.BELL_47 - new AI FM 409 + mod sounds ( works just as good, actually slightly better as a gunship, easier to point downwards, no gyro correction )
H19D            air.H19D - old FM + mod sounds
HRS3            air.HRS3 - old FM + mod sounds

Bell47AI          air.BELL_47AI - same as original bell 47 now, works with sound mod
H19DAI           air.H19DAI - new AI FM 409 but not sound mod
HRS3AI           air.HRS3AI - new AI FM 409 but not sound mod

a few questions : Can the dust off version get a slot for a door gunner ?  or is this not possible at the moment ...
Can the power of the trim settings be adjusted in the AI version FM so that you can keep it "even keel" / neutral  when flaps is fully deployed ?

In any case the last 2 helos on my list is my only problem but it's very slight - I'm happy that the AI's can at least add to the ambiance now - outstanding work, carry on - oorah

With your request, I noticed some anomalies in the new FM.
Among other things, the problem sounds.
I'll do a fix this.

The rest is the author of "Mod Heli_AI" (CY6) or better, the original author of "Mods helicopters" (SAS~Sani or Flakiten) to do your request.

Bons vols !

Thank you, it's a good mod, I think it's very handy for mission scripters like me, it lets us use the helicopters as dynamic props :)

Version 1.2 (4.09 & 4.10) !
- added Kick ass Helicopter sounds
- slight change in the FM files (conservation of a position of flaps to allow very small speed)

See first post for links !

First, Thanks Epervier ( guardian of 4.09 ) for a very quick fix !
Second : I tested it again and I noticed you changed the FM a little bit, also removed the dive brakes ( lol when i accidentally hit dive brake button yesterday and she went in the water like an out of control dive bomber  ??? )

Report :

Bell47           air.BELL_47 - old FM ( back to original )
H19D            air.H19D - old FM + mod sounds
HRS3            air.HRS3 - old FM + mod sounds

Bell47AI          air.BELL_47AI - new AI FM 409 + mod sounds
H19DAI           air.H19DAI - new AI FM 409 + mod sounds
HRS3AI           air.HRS3AI - new AI FM 409 + mod sounds

everything is flying smoothly.

Hello!

I would love this Mod because I'm working on a Vietnam 1st SOS Campaign.

I downloaded the file _06__Helico_AI_butSaS_v1.2

However, I've grown confused with the installation.

Can this mod work with UP3.0, and if so, could someone dummy down the installation for me?

Thanks so very much!

For me too in DBW. Since they are not as folders, but packed in sfs...how should I replace things then ??

MODS - #SAS -  #UP - #DBW - #DBW1916 folder classfiles always overwrite the sfs one!!!

So simply put it there!!

Easy don't?
