Yup ... Christmas all right ... what a lovely looking plane. And interbellum too ...

I installed into DBW and the game loads and all. You can set up this bomber too, but here's a thing - when you  fly as player, you get a black screen and 'mission over' message (a new one for me - in a bold yellow font no less).

If you set up the bomber as an AI plane, then it won't show up on the in-flight map and with 'view friend/enemy plane' you get a black screen again ... with sound and all, but only a black screen ...

I used the Diff FM classfiles by the way to get the game loaded.

Just to be sure i also tried out the other 2 sets, but they gave  60% crash on loading as to be expected ... since they were not intended for 4.10 anyway ...

It looks like that a buttons update is needed for this to work in DBW 1.6. I can get my DBW to start with the DiffFM version, but my B-71 explodes at mission start because of missing engine model. However, after I extracted FM and EM from HSFX buttons and recompiled SAS buttons with them included, I can now fly B-71 with the HSFX classfile set in DBW 1.6. So far the only issue I've noticed is that I get an uncontrolled crash with incomplete logfile when I try to drop the gargo loadout. I also tested that both SB variants work OK in DBW, their turrets will only fire in player control when the rear gunner is ready to shoot in that position.

Well in a way that is good news then. A button update should be relatively easy to do and wait for (though I have no idea how it is done and would do it myself if I only could).
