For GJE or any other admin/modder/member to be able to help you, you kinda have to give them what game version/modactivator you are using, as well as maybe some major mods (like Jetwar, for example).

They may be awesome, but they are far short of being psychic (hence the ouija board picture).

i agree, my bad, BUT the response to my question could have been exactly what you posted ie what version etc, would have been much  more helpfull and nicer, i thought the aircraft where generic except for those marked otherwise....

but put the banter aside for the moment ,  i use jetwar sasmodact all latest versions
i can load the game
i can add it to  bases
when i try to select it to fly, game  hangs
also if i have the ac 47 installed (which by all accounts it needs, to run) i cant even select  a loadout it just clicks and the arm button or fly button just pops  out again and nothing happens
the only thing  i notice is different from mine is it came with a weapons ru   thing to be pasted in i dont have any RU files in my STD
just the ini files (air.ini etc)

I (or WE) doubt you havn't installed "true latest" version of them.

I've seen newbies believe "they installed latest version" but they didn't many times.
or... some of the piece were latest but others were not and it makes a version un-match conflict.

Please write version numbers correctly.

... because we have said "please post log file" and full version spec until we are quite frankly pissed of with this kind of one line question. Anyone with any sense would realise that we need more than an "it's broke" comment with no clue to be able to help you ......... there is even a "sticky" or two telling you exactly what to do.

I'm convinced anyone in SAS cannot help you without any helpful error logs or environment informations.

Posting informed error reports in public, which elicits the corresponding diagnosis helps all members to benefit. Using pms or acting like a sulky child benefits no-one.
 


It just remains for me to thank you for highlighting to others the best way not to ask for help here .....
