Lucky Numbers
« on: November 05, 2009, 02:20:14 AM »

I made this mod purely for myself, but i thought I'd share it today. I dont like to always have the chevrons when flying German in QMB, so I made a little mod that swops them for whatever is currently my fav number. At the moment it is 14, but there is a disabled set of 11's in there as well.

This is a personal mod, so it is a purely take it or leave it. it is for the guys who feel like I do about the chevron...it is a bit old after a while, and it looks crappy on some jets! :D

Download CirX's Lucky Numbers

Put the " Lucky_Numbers_14 " folder in your mods folder. If you have some kind of Markings mod, like McWolfs or so, make sure this is above it in your mods folder by adding a 0 to the beginning of the name or something.

you can use the example of this mod to make your own. I used the numbers in McWolf's decalshine mod to contruct mine.

Yep. I have chosen yellow 9 as my personal number, until I can figure out the alpha channel on these to make my personal number, 34, display correctly.  ;)

What is the problemwith the alpha. When viewing in photoshop, look at the channels, and , I think holding down shift, highlight the alpha channel also, so that you include it in your selcetions, you copy and pastes ect...I think that is what you mean...

I'll try to do it myself...my first step to the dark side of the mods!
