Well since I have never seen this before I thought I could share it with you ... 

The strange and funny bug occurs prior to landing in this originally Ju87 campaign that I have slightly modified by adding 4 Bf109E7Trop, and those birds all jettison their canopy prior to landing at their base, but their pilot remain onboard and doesn't bale out ...!!  ???

Here is the mission in case one of you could find an explanation ...

ahh ok - this one could be tricky to solve, purely because it sounds like an older version of these planes you are using. most likely you'd need to find the most updated version of that trop 109 that is still good for 409.
i have a vague recollection of seeing this phenomenon in one of my old 409 games, and i think it was solved by updating the planes.
sorry i can't be more specific right now, gotta try and think back a bit on this....

actually, thinking back on it a bit more - i think it has something to do with an ai mod -this ai mod would cause some ai planes to 'open canopy' when landing - obviously that is what these 109's are doing, and the canopy is being ripped offf because they are going a bit too fast - so they are not trying to bail, they are just opening the canopy.
you'd have to adjust some classfile for the canopy to only rip off at a higher speed, or something...

Well, as Malone said, is related to AI and it was fixed by Anto in the new AI mod for DBW.
The stock AI knows nothing about the new opening canopy on 109.
