All northern airfields in the woods! I mean forest grows directly on them. Correspondingly, flying with them impossible.

That's easy to fix. Maybe I work on it tomorrow, if at all.
Solution is going into FMB+ and erasing the forest over the airfields with another type of terrain. Takes about 8-20 seconds each airbase. :D

Could anyone help me? I have very low fps while flying on this map even when only a few objects are included - it is not freezing only when I slow x4 the game down. I uploaded the log here: https://www.mediafire.com/download/dmcadpd7qip8uw9/sturmolog.log

Code: [Select]
1>//@sfs MOUNT SAS_SFS/sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs
Command not found: //@sfs MOUNT SAS_SFS/sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs
1>//@sfs MOUNT SAS_SFS/sasamt_jetwar_02.sfs
Command not found: //@sfs MOUNT SAS_SFS/sasamt_jetwar_02.sfs

This is where your problems start, dunno what kind of modpack youre using but make sure that jetwar is properly installed.

Thanks vpmedia, I updated my JetEra installation, but unfortunately without any positive effect on map slow performance  :(  A new log in the same location https://www.mediafire.com/download/dmcadpd7qip8uw9/sturmolog.log

 Thank you SAS and VP media. I had  the bad texture conflict, on the Dixiecapt 1968 map when I messed up my previous 4.12.2 setup. As I used DBW SFS  and map SFS files ( thank you Boomer ) I read all the posts on this site.  I removed the conflicting Canon UK texture files, overwrote the Vietnam maps with VP DBW Objects and Textures. The 4.12 install and three Vietnam maps look like a new install of Dark Blue world. Everything works smoothly. I tested the Whc map retexture load configuration with all three maps, and it works/loads  faster, all air bases look like the screenshots. I guess due to less trees.  Could not have done it without you. Cy6 Nam objects were also installed. Thanks again for your input on a great map.

Anyone know where I can get Ufflakkes 'Nam Wood' textures. I've got the magnificent CUP installed with all its Pacific maps and I've searched around and found suggestions that they might be in a couple of other maps including the newest Burma ones which I downloaded. I find 'Vietnam Trees' textures in these maps but no 'Nam Wood'.
Thanks in advance.

Try this for the Vietnam maps: http://ulozto.net/xxv6oEnT/whc-jungle-7z

'Tree0 = Trees\whc_Jungle.tga' in the maps load.ini

@Benson:
Drop the 5 extracted .tga's in MapMods/maps/_Tex/forest/summer

https://www.mediafire.com/download/wtd4l17p4m20q4a/NamWood.7z

And in load.ini change the lines in the [WOOD] section into:

Wood0 = forest/summer/NamWood01.tga
Wood1 = forest/summer/NamWood02.tga
Wood2 = forest/summer/NamWood03.tga
Wood3 = forest/summer/NamWood04.tga
Wood4 = forest/summer/NamWood05.tga

Hello Uufflakke, the link became inoperable, so at the time I posted the comment that it was unavailable.  For some reason unknown to me the link gave a indication that it had been removed/made private, something of that nature.

If you have no objections I could post this new link in back in that map thread.

Take care.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
