Mine comes from some of my tactics. Im a sniper type person, and in the air war all i used to do was hide in clouds or some where where i couldint be seen, hence the Ghost, then take down the target, hence the Killer.

Mine is a shortened version of the username that I've always used on a forum for something completely different........(when i say completly different, I mean completly different....something I do, when i'm not doing this)

I used to be in a band abpout 15 years ago called Flying Circus. SOmetimes when we sighned posters, and wrote the band name, I'd shorten it to FlyinCirx. Then in RB3D I joined a squad called the MiSfiTs. So I called myself the Misfit Circuser, or to be in balance with their use of capitals, MiSfiTs~CirXuSer, and so, that is where it is from. Later I shortened it to only CirX. Not realy phonetically correct, but it has come with me a while, and I am sort of stuck with it now, like a fat wife that I love anyway. :)

My first one was really quite stupid and it really didn't fit with the overall "mood" of SAS so I changed it to the German name for my favorite bird, the Focke Wulf 190, I admit I did cheat a little(translator) but I like the way it came out anyways, and by the way it means "butcher bird" or "shrike".

When I started playing IL-2 v.1 I was reading Terry Goodkind's  "Sword of Truth" series,

one of the lines used in the first book was "True as Toasted Toads" hence my nick.

Also known on Rof as "Flying Colander1961" (Yeah, just turned 50  ;D  ) and OFF BHaH as "Tripe and Flaming Onions".

Cheers,

T_T.

P.S. Changed my avatar to my 50th Birthday present, an '82 Gibson Les Paul Custom Sunburst  ;D  ;D always wanted one of these.

Mine was Doom (Oh creative I know  ::) ) but I had gotten sick of that, so changed it to German and got something far more interesting,

Verhängnis.

Which can be translated as ; fate, doom, disaster, undoing or as I once heard, Captain Mishap.  :D

Warhammer 40,000 character called a Dark Apostle, basically a bad version of a Space Marine Chaplin. Back when i first started online gaming I used to use either Waffen SS (sadly not as original as it used to be and caused to much drama amongst the whingers in the communities) or Tommy The Cat

Started using DA as it was once again different to everything else out there.

Big fan of the Silent Hunter -3 in particular- series of submarine simulations here.  Schwieger is the name I use for that.  So I guess you could say I'm too lazy to think of a different one for IL-2 :P

When I was young, fifteen years ago, I had long hair and beard, so my friends were trying to call me as "Jesus", but we already had a colleague that was called "Jesus" for the same reason.
At that time, there was a brasilian rock band that composed a song that there was a character called "João de Santo Cristo", something like "John of Holy Christ" and my friends nicknamed me as "santocristo".
Later just "santo", the nickname was too long to pronounce.
They call me "santo" until today. :D :P
