Riken - (Ri - Ken. Long "I") Was my Army radio callsign back in the day. I was allowed to choose my own callsign so I came up with this one because it was unique. Plus, when you hear it on the radio, It sounds like someone sneezing
It never got old o hear that on the radion while out on missions.
My other nickname was younggun425. Which was because of 425 being my roster number, and "younggun" because I use to always carry a 1911 Blued Colt sidearm on my right thigh, and my crappy issued 9mm on my left thigh. with my boonie cover on, I looked like a cowboy from the movie young guns... hence younggun425.
Some of you from the old CFFS2 and CFS3 days might remember me as the Ace of Broken Hearts. My pin-up was a ace of hearts card with broken hearts on it.
Pretty good topic, Good choice
