I've tried a million times and gave up with this airplane, I KNOW It wasn't THAT bad in real life. And I certainly know how to land an airplane. but I failed 30 out of 30 times with my gear collapsing each time.

It's flyable, sure, but the configuration is not exact, further examination of the original picture and a profile indicates the location and angle of main-wheels. Still we know it was flyable, but considered to be horrid. Not that horrid as we have it with the stock FM production Me 262 added tailwheels lookalike V3. The V3 design differs gently, give it less powerful engines, please re-locate the main-wheel, more significantly forward to get that minimum balance or just change the angle. I don't think the real V3 was that elch-type/nose-prone and uncentered, the real picture shows how the configuration should be, to keep the forces off-centered. Servicing would be fatal, if the tail would be lifted.
I'm sure Mr. Wendel wouldn't take a seat in such a jolly whip, a blind man knows what I mean, forces you to nose.

A nice detail is the slightly swept forward main-wheel on original V3, a possible point to avoid heavy nose slapping.
Hope someone takes over this and finishes it more accurate.
BTW. nice try

Btw, it's not based on a mod by me, it is fully my mod as far as I can see.

Off the top of my head, the tail dragger 262 v3, when taking off, the pilot (Hans Fabian?) found that touching the brakes at 120-130 kmh brought the tail up without elevator - hopefully that should work ingame, and solve T/O nose overs.

Guess a complete rework would be hard to establish for such a sideshow aircraft. What we have is what we get, until the original creator doesn't want it or it's going to get new wheel configuration and some engine limiting, we must live with it. Anto took over and limited the engines and some other stuff, Tad-ah, to my surprise, it was flyable. That's the state of art, it works. So one can try the original hardcore version or try to get her go in Antos Pack. If you can afford 4.10 or above, he domesticated the V-3/Beast to a moderate stage. It was last summer, around the time I made the last post here. Hope this helps

I find this aircraft an Aviation dream to fly, I could never take-off but I soon got used to the sincere differences during takeoff, now I can take off in her quite easily, just requires a Steady Throttle, Stick and Tapping of the Breaks. ;)

Hi, I love to fly this plane, can't fight as it does not have ammunition by default, but I cannot land it without nosing over and I've trimmed it right back on touch down - still a nice plane
