Hello! Details are ok, but I think that the planes were painted with glossy, deep black paint like the propeller blades (WIP black template is too gray and dull for me).
I darkened a little P-61B template and I think the effect is a bit closer to the original painting.

Tks for your message but, see this photos:





Considering that the plane had just left the assembly line, it would actually darker color. With the wear and tear from use, is clear in all the pictures we see of aircraft at the time, wear and loss caused to the original color. In carrying out the template, and 101tfs Crazyflak tried to reproduce this phenomenon. In my view the template is perfect.
