This is really great, my hat is off to you for this!
I'm very happy to see how little this second version interferes with other sounds!

Too bad we have no video to hear how these effects work in game.

Just tried this great mod on my 4.09 build, and it works flawlessly. I can hear breathing, G stress, screaming sounds and so far not a single crash.

Thanks once again for this mod  ;)

In your updat I hear new noises, and they are good. But is the screaming from wounded crew gone?

I tested this cool mod little further. As I said it works just fine in SP/MP (UP 2.01 v4.09), but I just found out that my game freezes in MP when my plane crashes to the ground. I got this in sound.log:
Quote
-- new session --
num channels 32
Cannot open audio file samples/infinite 1
Cannot setup 3d algorithm.Settings will be reset to DEFAULT.
Speaker config restored.
Audio finished.

I know that this mod is mainly for 4.10, but maybe it's something easy to fix.

Regards,
W.

Hi all,

Just thought I'd test the new version before I posted this and just thought I'd say I really like the improved sounds, however, I have been encountering a problem of late with the radio navigation in 4.10.1, which I really like too. I have the latest SAS modact and buttons. Unfortunately this mod locks up the entire game whenever a beacon is selected. It is unrecoverable and so, for the time being as I am using the beacons on some flights I have disabled this equally brillaint feature!  :-\ My radio beacons now work fully, after disabling a few other aircraft mods too...

I hope there can be a fix for this at some point to make this original mod fully 4.10.1 compatible but I understand due to the nature of the mod it might be more difficult to fix than most!  :)

Thought you should know, it being beta and all.  8)

All the best,

      Michael.

Mike,
could you provide more information? After the game is locked do you have any record in the log.lst that could be useful to understand the reason? Basically it shouldn't interfere with that.

Yes Leone, the screams are still there.

Soon I will release a new version that based in other principles is more ballanced even.

Hi Pablo,

I have tried looking in the log but nothing relevant seems to be there. Basically I was flying in the default German Bf-110G-2 mission where you practice using the NDB's and the Lorenz landing system. When I select the Lorenz using the assigned keys it's fine and works as normal but as soon as I try to select an NDB the game freezes with the 'Not responding' window and cannot be recovered, except by ctrl+alt+delete and returning to the desktop.  :-\ There are no other issues with this mod at any other point and it does exactly what it's supposed to do elsewhere. Not much help I know but that's all I can say off of the top of my head...  :-X

Hi @benitomuso.  Thank you very much for your good work. It´s a new inspiration for IL 2. It´s make it a little bit realier.

Thanks and a good time.
