THE FULL MONTY!   :) :)

WOW, Monty27 has taken the CLEAN JSGME concept and built a extremely comprehensive cornucopia of mod content which overlays vanilla DBW 1.7.1.  :) :)

This is the ultimate pack set and for those looking for all the latest and greatest in the IL2 mod content wrapped nicely in easy on/easy off GME integration, this is the "Full Monty!"  It took my rig 2.5 hrs to enable, but wow what a pack!  Anyone "looking for it all" should definitely check out the FULL MONTY!

Thanks Wind,

It was based on what you started using the methods you taught me.   The reason for the thread at A&A is that I met a number of players who were unfamiliar with DBW and needed more explanation. The Full Monty is also designed to support my newest campaigns and skinpacks from those brilliant artists.  I guess a similar thread here at SAS1946, my other Il2 'home' should also point the way, will get on it shortly.

More mod packages?  8) It must be Christmas already. Thanks.

Many new players might enjoy these packages.
I need to test these to see if works good on my computer.

Good morning,
Thank you one and all for all your efforts and skill in modding this game.I have downloaded the Clean JGME Pack from the link at mediafire but cannot open the # DBW_Mod_Aircraft  or the # DBW_Mod_Static file as the NCH 7z programme asks me for a password.
Any help or alternate dl lininks would be appreaciated.
Thanks Drew

hello Drew,

Not sure on the pw prompt to open the archive.  Have not heard of that one before.

However, with release of the "Full Monty" I recommend that folks look into this very comprehensive set of CLEAN Concept packs for DBW 1.7.1.  Monty has taken what I started with the packs found here and expanded upon the concept to provide basically "it all!" in an easy on/off format for a vanilla DBW install.

For those using the CLEAN JSGME packs found here, I recommend now moving on to the Full Monty!  Disable all the Clean packs found here and enable the Monty 1-12.

Note the only Clean JSGME pack I am using in conjunction with the full Monty is the FOV pack.  All others are basically in the Full Monty already.

Hi WindWpn,

Will your MOD_Static pack work alongside Wflyr_NEW_PACK_V2 thru JSGME ?

Mick

Hi,
I experienced a lot of troubles trying to do that, but eventually I found out it was because of the Char 1bis I added to MOD_static.
So pay attention to class files into XTD folder of both packs as well as to tanks 4.11 for 4.09 folder into MOD_static (it could be some conflict about these since they are now included in wflyr new pack too: I compared .ini files using notepad++ seeking the conflict I was affected for).
However you can know more in wflyr new pack's thread on this forum:

I could do one for UP3, but as UP3 is primarily designed for "online" play and "standardized playing field," I will likely focus on DBW.  Though, if you study the framework/concept, it would be quite simple to create the same for UP. (actually, I have created a UP FOV pack, based on the DBW one, which I use on some online servers)  Basically, its simply following the directory structure chain and ensuring everything goes to the right place when the packs are enabled.  Of course, mgmt/admin ("gardening") of the pack category ini files (where applicable) is the same as what has been done in the DBW set.

Thanks for that WindWpn. I still fly mainly online, so I might have a go at sorting these awesome packs for UP. It will be a bit of trial and error for me as I am not that experienced at adding mods, but I have backed up my UPRC4 install and I will give it a crack.

From what you state above, it is file, folder structure and .ini entries that I need to 'weed'.

The only thing I am concerned about is potential conflicts with mods that already exist in UP. I should not have to touch any classfiles right?

Cheers

Depending on where you fly online these packs will keep you out.

Thanks. I understand that is the case with some servers, but in general I fly with a squad where someone hosts by IP.

That is also the beauty of JGSME,being able to switch to vanilla UP and back.  :)

I recenlty Installed your mod packs into vanilla DBW 1.71.1 version. All went great until Flight Load I get a total lock up at 23% loading static objects. Everything works perfectly without the AIRCRAFT MOD Pack enabled. I have tried with another Vanilla DBW and even redownloading your Pack and verifying the checksums, No other mods are enabled other than the ones in your screenshot.
Any Ideas? Thanks

WindWpn,

First off I just have to say OMFG. All this is amazing. I literally downloaded DBW PURELY because I saw what your "Clean Mod Packs" included.

Now I have to ask you a question. 99.9% of the reason I got this pack was because of the Landing Gear Damage mod. Its very similar to the effects you would see in CloD. This mod really amazing me. I have only played a couple missions and have not seen this effect happen yet. (Mainly because I was able to survive without getting hit, hehe).

Also if this effect were to happen, is there a particular area I should be aiming for in order to achieve this?

Has anyone else seen this mod effect work in game? (BTW Windwpn I did delete the classfile that was suggested to in order for the Ju-88's to work). Like I said that particular effect was so amazing to me, I just had to spend all night downloading UP3/DBW/Your mod packs.

Can anyone else confirm the effect working?

Regards,
Tyson
