Thanks. I dont think it does. It is built on the Plutonium mod.

You were not kidding when you said it took a while to load them into the JSGME. Almost done though.

Yea, there is over 2GB of content which is loaded across Static and Aircraft.  Also, if you use the Map pack there is a large set of content there as well.  If I have all packs disabled and load all, it takes over 10 minutes for GME to load it all.  Usually, I surf around SAS in Firefox while it loads.

ok, back to Flying Tigers!

Well done Wind!

Comments like the above kind of prove your concept.  I realise that a lot of experienced users add their own aircraft and other stuff, but the JSGME Clean Mod Packs are designed to provide a common base for everyone.  However, this is no obstacle to the old hand, quite the reverse!

If someone who has been knocking around here for years then wants to add other aircraft and stuff it really is very easy, with the right knowledge base, approach and attitude, to mod anything else into or out of your personal install, that's what DBW is all about.  With practice I have learned to 'Hangar' my none DBW/JSGME Mods, revert to 'Vanilla' set up ready for updates and new JSGME stuff etc - then re-install anything else I want in there.

The JSGME Packs keep me 'honest' too, its a more organised way of modding with much less clutter.  Loading and performance is much improved because so many duplicate class files and extra olders are removed.

I still play around with the Phantom and Cant seaplane and other stuff, but they are installed - LAST - after all JSGME stuff, and moved to one side - FIRST - when uninstalling back to Vanilla, in the case of updates, adding new/different stuff etc.

Thanks again for expanding our world and the possibilities of sharing more complex mod campaigns with a wider audience.

No issues here. I did have to reload a page one or twice to start the DL.

Hi WindWpn

Before I download I have one question... Why has the "Landing gear damage mod V 1.3 " been included in the Aircraft pack if it causes bugs in DBW 1.71?

The "Landing gear damage mod V 1.3 " is only intended for IL2 4.09 and causes things like the landing gear to come out of the top of the wings of the Zeros in DBW 1.71. Or do you have some "fixed" version of the "landing gear damage mod" in the pack?

I know Crazyflak is working on a new version for 4.10 and DBW, but hasn't been released yet.

Yes, this version works correctly in DBW 1.7.1, at least from everywhere I have seen it active.  Main requirement for making it work was sequence in mod firing along with conflict/duplication checks in the doubleon output.  True, CF is prepping a new updated version which will promptly replace this version; however, as is now, the version included in the pack does work with the associated other mods found here.

Note, if anyone does find an issue while flying around with these packs enabled, please reply with when/where it is found.

Additionally note, these packs remain fluid in their development.  Thus as mod updates come out, campaign designer requests come in, and new mods are released, these packs will continue to be updated, packaged, tested, and driven as a single "step" ahead of "vanilla DBW."  For example when DBW 1.9+ is released and much of the content found in these packs is incorporated in, the packs will be updated to remain valid for the constant "xmas present" il2 gifts offered by the modding community!   :)

Hey Windwpn, I found something to ask you about.

The late model corsairs have "missing" engine graphics.  Inside the cowling where the radial "innards" graphics should be, it's a featureless black circle.  Any ideas?  I don't have any mods installed besides the normal DBW-enabling JSGME mods, and your awesome extra packs.

Yes, I am aware of that one.  Still looking for the solution, but likely tied to a missing texture or incorrect call to the texture for the innards.  Also another minor bug with the late model corsairs is the left wheel cover for the non-US version of the F4U-5 (non radar).  Another one to look at likely related to the wheel fix included in the pack.
