Hi

Cut  paste the settings you have into the conf file as you sugested. The original conf file does not come with a dgen section so you create it by doing the following

[DGEN]
& then the settings you have.

Thanks for the response.  Even I was able to understand your instructions, and it worked.  I'm just always really worried to attempt something like that on my own, without you guy's help.  Until one of you moves in next door down here in south Texas, I guess you'll just have to keep putting up with me on this board.  Thanks again.

thx kennel for assistance :)

hi Boelcke, One question. When I start german campaign I hear "beep" sound :'(. Do I something wrong? Some problem with modded planes?

@gereloco_22, what´s your language? the only problem i can imagine is the letter code i´ve used for the Luftwaffe campaign, i use µ to avoid overwriting other exisiting campaigns. Most of the poeple don´t have a problem with it, but are the third user who is reporting this problem.

please try this:

- start windows file explorer and go to the DGEN folder of your il2

- check for the files:

campaignsDeµ.dat
campaignsDeµ_ru.dat
campaignsDeµ_de.dat
classesDeµ.dat
planesDeµ.dat
squadronsDeµ.dat

- rename these files with a letter or number which nisn´t used by other campaigns

you can check for a not used letter or number when looking for files called

campaignsDe*.dat

for example: if you don´t have a file called campaignsDeA.dat, ername the files mentioned before into:

campaignsDeA.dat
campaignsDeA_ru.dat
campaignsDeA_de.dat
classesDeA.dat
planesDeA.dat
squadronsDeA.dat

(sounds a little bit difficult but it isn´t)

- then try to start a Luftwaffe campaign and report please

I have a question which for most of you will sound silly: where to unpack all of the campaign files ?

All files go into the DGen folder.

@gereloco
I noticed in the Dgen error report you only have version 4.0.0.9 Dgen file . You need to download and copy the 4.0.8.6 Dgen file to your main game folder to be able to play this mission . You can download it from here http://www.axis-and-allies-paintworks.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=222&t=2029
