Hi Sonny Tucson.

Sorry that I haven't answered your post. I don't know exactly the history up to the moment, but: what TD.dll do you use? Because there was a mistake and in one of the last versions of the MOD I published, it was the old DT.dll of the 4.11.0 version.

Here I'm publishing the last one I have that I use with DBW1.71 with same success in my Desktop (4:3) computer as in my Notebook (16:9). Only difference is the setting saying:

PAL3DEcranWide=0 or 1 (WideScreen)

Regarding the 6DOF issue, I don't have any 6DOF device, so for me it is kind of trying to guess how the martian salt tastes. The data should be taken properly from the 6DOF because I follow the pattern used in the game. But I asked for extra details on it to the people who reported problems and didn't get extra feedback.

So try this version (I don't know which sub version it is) and tell me as detailed results as you can. The specification of lines for the QMB as the ones detailed in your Conf.ini are not neede anymore if you use my last versions of the Mission Pro Combo.

  Regards,

Thanks Benito

I'll investigate and try the version your joined. I'll report back here.

As I am pretty busy for the moment I estimate the results post in two days.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Sonny. :)

Hi benitomuso:
Great job! As for the TIR problems, I went into my MODs folder #DBW in my case and removed the "00_6dof for TrackIR" folder.  I put it somewhere safe so I could put it back.  Then I opened the "PureTrackIR6DOF-3DAdapted.rar" in your PAL Stereo3Dv5Final and grabbed the 00_PAL-Stereo3d folder.  I put this in my MODs (#DBW) folder and it all works.  I was having the same CTD and problems as the rest of these peeps and I found this solved it.
Dude! You have changed the rules.  This is an outstanding mod.  The immersion is unbeleivable.  The deep engine cowlings and rivets have come alive.  The pits look unbeleivable.  Just looking at the charging handles on the guns is wow.  The external views make it look like the aircraft are outside my monitor over my desk... UNREAL!!
There is still a bit of work to do but you have changed the sim and the comunity forever.

I for one am very greatfull for this mod.

Maico

P.S.  Do we need to get you a TIR??? LOL

Maico,
try the v7 version with RealFollow. It has everything you see here, but includes several improvements and bug fixes.

If someone wants to donate a TrackIR I will be able to check the different comments about it. I'm not particulary interested in that device, that's why I don't have one of my own. And my philosophy is that it is kind of absurd to invest in something just to try to solve problems of other people.

I am really surprised you are not interested in TIR.  I know you have been playing IL2 for a long time.  I freed up a lot of buttons with TIR.
Anyways, I have taken your advice and used v7.  It works flawlessly.  The 6Dof seems limited but that is not a big deal.  What is a big deal is that I get double vision while flying and I find it hard to see well.  I feel like I am looking at things out of my right eye all the time.  The red side seems too dark.  I am still experimenting but can you shed some light?  Right now it just feels disjointed...  I tried the different modes but still this double vision thing persists.

Here is some positives.  Flying the Zero I look behind me and see into the fuselage.  The guns in front look real and so does the rest of the pit.  Landing on the carrier is a blast as you pointed out.  A formation of B-17s look amazing.

So keep on keeping on.  This mod is amazing

  • Tactical dominance is key

This is very good 3D; I feel as if I was holding up a model plane in my hand it is so real.

PAL, you are a true craftsman at his type of modding. Keep it up, I wish you luck!  :)
