For map makers:
maybe you could give a listing of all the various climate types that you have set up.
So far I see here 'arid' and 'oceanic' ... and in a new post about the Tunisia map in WIP, there also appears to be 'Mediterranean' ...
I would suppose that there should be an 'arctic' and perhaps 'equatorial' types as well?
In any case, a listing would be very useful ...
Thanks agracier to have an interest in my MOD.
For 'arctic' , I prepaired "CLIMATE = Subarctic".
For 'equatorial' , I prepaired "CLIMATE = TropicalRainforest".
I base on mainly "Köppen-Geiger Klassifikation" , but his classfication is seeing both Temperature and Rainfalls in a day , in a month and in a year.
But in IL-2 1946, I need only Temperature moving, not Rainfalls.
I cut rainfalls classfication from his, and make 9 types of "CLIMATE=".
Oceanic
HumidSubtropical
Subtropics
TropicalRainforest
TropicalSavanna
HumidContinental
Mediterranean
Subarctic
Arid
When your map's real world climate class is other's in Köppen's, you can choose similar Temperature moving climate type from these 9 types.
And I prepaired all the DBW contains maps load.ini rewriting to match this MOD in my 1st post releasing zip.
You may see load.ini samples in MAPS folder.
About maps made by agracier, 27 maps - Andalucia, Aragon, Australia, Batavia, Chaco, Dakar, hankow, Hejaz.... Biscay are contained in DBW1.71 , and I prepaired for them new load.ini.
