I am getting a similar looking logfile to Squashman with a 70% crash too. I have just reinstalled BAT to 3.7.2. It installed ok with earlier versions of BAT. I realise that this may not be the right place to mention this, but it is the only Ashes ship I have to behave this way.
Wackywings, really looking forward to your Measure 21 colour scheme version. Looks just right....

I guess I found your problem:

the source of the troubles is one classfile: AFA75B48395BF822
the one thats in WAW3 is coming from the Enterprise/Yorktown/Hornet Mod obviously, while the one thats included here is only working for the Lexington;
so if you use the one from this install, it crashes at 70% because it does not contain the necessary entries for the Yorktown class carriers...
the posted new classfiles from Ashe do not help much either because they do not contain that classfile;
what you can do though is get this classfile from the Enterprise/Yorktown/Hornet mod and overwrite the one that comes with this install...this should work :)

pls try and post the result...on my install, it works...

Hi Griffon,
Many thanks for the effort but I'm afraid this doesn't work for me
BAT comes with the Yorktown Class carriers already installed and their classfiles are contained in the Classes-Objects-Ship folder in #WAW3

So, as Ashe himself says on the Lexington download page, the two files that come with the download are not needed if you have the Yorktown ships already installed.

I tried your method anyway but still got the 70% CTD.

I do have many ship and aircraft mods loaded on top of BAT so I'm thinking this must be a classfile conflict - but which one   :(

Regards

No you are not entirely right....take the file I mentioned from the download of the Yorktown mod, not the one that's in BAT right now... Copy it over the file of the same name in the ships classes folder and the Lex will work...

My sincere apologies Griffon, I misunderstood what you meant. Game now loads and plays perfectly with Lexington.

How strange that the files are different!

Thanks very much  ;D

Best regards
