Thanks Steven190, Claymore and Bravo !
By reading your posts, I came to the conclusion I did something wrong with the sfs files : they were in right folder but I found out that I had an other .RC file in my UV3 modfolder...
Everything is fine now, I can finally enjoy that wonderful work (especially the cockpits !).

.. I believe he had 2 .rc files, that's one too much ...

The .rc file tells your game which SFS files to load, and in which order, Clay's pack and Tiger's UV3 sound mod need to be added in the .rc file like this (example for 4.09 ) :

@sfs MOUNT fb_clay01.sfs
@sfs MOUNT fb_clay02.sfs

@sfs MOUNT tigersounds.sfs

So make sure you only have ONE .rc file ....

Mike is right : I had 2 .RC files, one in my STD folder and an other one in my #UV3 folder (without the two lines "@sfs MOUNT fb_clayXX.sfs").

So if you have the same problem, here are some advice :
  • select your DBW folder and make a basic windows search for ".RC" to make sure you have only one file
  • try what Bravo said : putting an # in front of your folder. It actually solved my problem too with the BF 109 Ultimate Pack where I couldn't get most of the G version. It seems here I had a conflict with an other mod.

ohhhhh so that was the prob, I noticed that an while ago, (on my attempt with steven) so you thought I needed to add a copy of the RC in my 190 folders... I feel stupid ;D
BTW do I just delete the other RC in the UV3 or do I add the lines to both

... you need to keep only ONE .rc file (and back up the other one somewhere, just in case ...)

So suppose you keep the .rc file that came with Claymore's FW190/Ta152 pack, then you only need to add (with notepad for ex) the necessary UV3 line to it:

@sfs MOUNT tigersounds.sfs

Store in dry and warm place.
But never try to rename ... otherwise ...

... then use plan B now, that is do the contrary, use the UV3 one and add the FW/Ta pack lines in it, and back up the STD one somewhere ...

  Any word on the Rate of Climb gauge on the A-4?  It does not work on my install.  :(  Everything else rocks!   The Spits are scared :o :D

Is this compatible with 4.11.1? It looks terrific!
