... you should never install a game on the same partition as your OS, in your case C:, especially in Program Files ...

Copy and paste your entire IL2 folder (or whatever it is called) on D: or E: or whatever your other partition is called (if you have another one of course)

Then go to the root of the game, right click on il2fb.exe, choose "send to", select "desktop", create a new shortcut, exit double click on that new shortcut to launch your game, check if everything is OK now with the missing FWs and if this is not the case then post your log.lst unless it is the same as the previous one you already posted, then in that case I strongly believe something went wrong during install, so install again and strictly follow the read me instructions ...

... yes I know Clay, but this doesn't prevent him from installing his game the way I described, simply because if one day he has to format C: because XP bugs or whatever, his game will be safe on D: or any other partition ... 

The problem is worse with 7, in that case the game must not be installed in Program Files ...

Hi guys,been out of the loop  for almost 2 and1/2 weeks with a move to New Mexico gents.

Yes, it works BUT you might need to remove other mods (damn classfile amount limit!) or you'll get unexplained game crashes.

I think this also depends on the computer...I didnt have to remove a single mod for this to work...and I have 42 extra aircraft (without the new FW'S of course) installed right now! And I didn't notice any change in my game behaviour like fps slowdown etc..

To RDDR : This works very fine for me but as CF said there is a chance that you'll have to take some mods out.
