they have not been converted yet to the new jetpack and the newest DBW and will likely have issues.  they may work, but likely not exactly as intended.  they'll be an update, i'm sure...but it'll likely be a little while yet as everyone at FM has tons of irons in the fire on other projects.  don't worry we've not forgotten the SAMs and will continue to improve them as time allows.  and hopefully add 'more' version/types too as we go along.

I'm having no issue with these in 1956 v1.2

Are you using ground static object version or the "aircraft" version (which you have to add into the air.ini)?

Static object version.  They're way easier to position in missions, and you can't see where they are using ctrl+f2  ;D

Hi S-3, got these working in DBW 1.71 (I think). Tried the sample missions you had and got no incoming fire. Maybe I have to place them in a mission maybe, but my question is (it only worked after adding the Static version,) are there no entries in the Static.ini I need to make? Remember it used to be in UP2, but not here?

Thanks in advance for your answer. ALMOST ready to make a Vietnam FUBAR mission, and this is the last ingredient ;)

static.ini is used for objects that are placed on maps by default (houses, airfields etc...) whereas stationary.ini is for objects that could move but are not supposed to in a mission (cars, planes etc...).
So no static.ini entry needed :)

Running UP3 RC4 , jetwar version 1.1 that is included in UP by default.

I try to use stationary versions of SAMs.
They do work but every time they fire I get the following exception in log.lst, eventually flooding our server.

Hi Guys,

Not sure if anyone will get this.  Im having problems on where to paste that ini file entry in the ini file.  Every time I change it I cant get past 70% on the load up screen.  Anyone got any ideas.  Ive got the Mod to appeare in my JSEGME and Im using up3 with SAM mpd over it.  That adds OK but it just wont load past 70% if I alter the ini file...?
