This takes me back to my request to mod Ju-52 to drop supplies. I was told it already was in game but it's not in any version. It would be really useful in supplying missions of besieged scenaries, SCW and Stalingrad for instance.

There used to be a mod for this in 4.09 ... a cargo carrying Ju-52 ... but I haven't found it in anything for DBW ... and by the way, cargo would also be a good loadout for the Trimotor. The poor thing has nothing to do but fly through the skies as a target

The Ju52 bomber is on its way (not a Franken - a real one) I will add a cargo dropping to it - but it will have to wait - other goodies are on their way..... ;)

We all were thinking of Santa Ranwers and didn't realize that Papa DreamK Noel was coming also with his sleigh full of toys and goodies.  ;D
What's going to be next? Pedro? I'm not sleeping tonight...
If you would make this trimotors drop something else beside paratroops, you would make me happy. Actually, I saw some months ago a trimotor dropping boxes without parachutte in an Italian SCW propaganda movie and there are also sequences of Ju-52 doing so in Stalingrad.  It would be like bombing with supplies.

Superb mod Dreamk, thank you very much. 8)

Besides its intended use it could be a hack for the Hs126. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

I find the instructions not very clear...

Do I understand right if I say that now, I must have 2 lines in the air.ini file :

He46C1      air.He46     NOINFO   i01  SUMMER
He46C2      air.He46C2     NOINFO   i01  SUMMER

????

It is not very clear if I want to have both versions of the plane... thankd for the kind answer !

Well as I wrote in my introduction to the He46C1
"The He46 arrived in Spain with the legion Condor and was looked by its German pilots as a failure, due to its high vibrations and low speed, therefore swiftly passed to the Spanish Aviacion nacional. "
Its nickname "La pava" meaning "turkey" in Spanish was well fitting - a very slow, low flying plane "walking over the killing fileds".
Don't expect this plane to perform as a dive bomber or a fighter - just a reco plane and not a very good one - although one of the very few planes used by the Spanish till 1946 at least

I like these imperfections, they give to the plane a lot of character. It seems like it was a great experience to fly, but not to go to war with!

You're right: lots of good pilots were shot down in this flying target.

OK. Both versions working, thanks. I just have a bug with the C2 : when I use it, I am sitting in the cockpit, but it seems that I am sitting backwards, because I have the pilot sitting before me... does anyone else have this bug ? this apart, the plane is working well.

Gaston, the issue was already adressed yesterday but the post somehow seems to have disappeared (!) Just re-install the original fix by Birdman's - and do not forget to install the cockpit hier.him changes toigether with the plane hier.him changes (I forgot to include them in my archive)
