I have checked and rechecked ships.ini, chiefs.ini, stationary.ini, etc
I have installed both parts of the mod into #DBW

Any ideas?

1. You may forget "USSEssexCV_ead_SCB125(4.10)" folder install.

or

2. You have written chief.ini first part of add1.chief.ini, but forget second prat of add2.chief.ini.

Well, the maximum possible resolution for "single skinning" with this arrangement is to use 3 x 1024x1024 tgas - one for each deck section - but it is very fiddly to do. No-one has done it yet as we have not seen these huge flat-tops until now. Conversely the use of overlays for deck markings (as used for aircraft skins) might provide a solution if applied over a basic deck colour. Anyway, food for thought for future mods maybe.

What you mean "launch a F-8E" ?
When you taxi F8E on the catapult starting point and push "Toggle Chocks" key, no catapult catch your F8E?
Or a catapult catch your F8E, but when you push "Toggle Chocks" key again on the catapult and make taking-off but does F8E fall down into sea?

When 2nd mean, UP3RC4 ignores my MOD and special techniqs is needed not to be ignored installation.
About that, Sanka helps me converting my MOD into UP3RC4.
But I continued quick next release at Catapult MOD temporary versions, Powerful catapult enough to Max loadout F8E is only latest version, Sanka can't catch up me.

Thank you western, problem solved!

It will sound stupid, but I really never thought that I might taxi all the way to the catapult. I just tried to take off from the middle of the deck.

When you said "taxi to the catapult and toggle chocks" I give it a try ....and flew of the deck with a beautiful steamming catapult under the nose!!!

Again, my thank you for bringing me to the Jet Vietnam war from an aircraft carrier.

I have never expected so much for this simm, with so much realism!!!

You guys are great!

I tried making the new decks in 512 and 1024 sizes when I first did them, then I did them again in 2048 when Western created the new UV's.  The fuzzy effect is there whatever the texture size so it has to be the game engine, I cannot get rid of it whatever I do, sorry.

I have been looking at the gamma effect of the decks surfaces and shadow effects for that as well, it does not remove the fuzzy effect but it does make the white lines less 'alive' (for want of a better description).

If I find a solution I will post it here.

They are few photo information to make skins.
Something wrong may exist.
When you find it, show me where errors with sample photos.
So, this is BETA version.

At some carriers like USS Intrepid CV11 /1957, Catapults starting points are different from skin showing.
It's "Catapult MOD" area parameters.
When I decide thiese 5 ships no errors, I will remake Catapult MOD to fit these ne ships.
