Just 1 thing to remind

This model is GENERIC. It may not accuratelly represent the gun configurations/platforms on all teh early angled decks since they all were a bit different in details.

So for example some have more platforms in front some others have less guns, etc.

If you find such innacuraccy it's not necessarilly a bug it could also be a different detail needed for teh specific ship.

One small bug to report - it seems that deck colision height has been raised up too much, because the wheels sink a bit now. It's better then when they floated but... if they sunk just about 1 cm it would be even more relistic but now FJ-3 main gear wheels have even about 1 cm of their rims sunk... it needs to be just a litle bit lower.

EDIT: Spotted another thing - all carriers from the pack have the beginning of the runway warped to the left. It's most noticable when you're on final aproach to runway. Runways on all carriers are warped identicaly, so I guess it's a problem with mapping.

Western

I had a look at this today and it is quite noticeable, can you fix it ?

The Collossus seems different. I wonder what technique they used?
...... smaller ship  ;)

Well, the maximum possible resolution for "single skinning" with this arrangement is to use 3 x 1024x1024 tgas - one for each deck section - but it is very fiddly to do. No-one has done it yet as we have not seen these huge flat-tops until now. Conversely the use of overlays for deck markings (as used for aircraft skins) might provide a solution if applied over a basic deck colour. Anyway, food for thought for future mods maybe.

This is correct. Most of the stock CV's use overlays for the deck markings. Illustrious is a good example. The numbers and lines along the deck and around the hanger lifts are all done on overlays, whereas the basic deck paint scheme is quite low resolution.

I think this warping was fixed at BETA5.00.
Please test again  by 5.00 or 6.00's 3D data.

After 1 hour from now, I will release BETA6.01. only Randolph catapults moving and some ships line sharping.

if your re-making the catipult mod, might it be possible to have more than one catapult in use at once?

Today's Catapult MOD (Carrier MOD) enable 2 catapults working at once by Player Pilots.

AI uses only left side catapult is Carrier Take-off MOD's feature limitation.
It will be solved in Carrier Take-off MOD improvement. But it will be far future.

CV15 Randolph /1957 is one question.

Left side of landing area

here deck color was dark or bright, I don't know.
Now BETA10 paint in dark.
But probabry bright???

Anyone has photos show this area color?

Today, I add...
- USS Essex CV9 /1957
- USS Hornet CV12 /1957
- USS Hancock CV19 /1957

and all the ships 3D fix, skin fix, no need .msh erase.

Please erase old "USSEssexCVs_SCB125" folder, and copy new "USSEssexCVs_SCB125" folder.

I think... unique skins are almost made.

My goal isn't encompassing whole SCB-125 Essexs.
Typical / Unique lines, paints ships only to be made, I  think.

I've checked photos of Wasp, Bon Homme Richard and Bennington.
But they were similar to other Essexs and feel nothing to make.

Does anyone have a reason "I want to fly from Wasp!" ?

Hi guys, great work on Essex class carriers, getting better and better!!
A couple of questions if I may:
1. Is there a plan for modeling a correct SCB-125 bridge to replace stock WW2 one?
2. Is there any way to lower that big antenna on the starboard side, or remove it, because
it doesn`t really exist if you take a look at the original photos, and it is a little bit in a way
    if you are practicing landings....

Thanks
