A special request I did for JG27 EZ using one of his skins:

based on this original 1940 shot of Adolf Summer's crashed 109-E:

If CoD ever looks like that in the future, they can have my bank details!  :D 8)

Thanks gents,  The plane looks that good with a little editing but the background will take a bit more coding time to produce I'd wager.

Nice screenshots...but...but you cannot temp me in the ways of the Devil!
I will not fly CoD until it can be modded properly like the IL-2-1946!  ;D
That game needs P-51 mustangs and B-17 bombers crossing
the channel and giving those bad guys a real fight!

+1

Cod needs:
- new sounds (by Jafa or Tiger)
- no jpg skins, better tga instead
- static ac markings fixed
- new terrain textures at least for the fields
- free campaigns for offliners (preferably dcg or dgen style)

But it is flyable and playable and in time most of the goodies will turn up.

In a few years time, this sim will be amazing. Despite not being able to fly it currently with any worth while performance (on windows XP :S), I look forward to the sequel, as I think it could reboot the brand at the point where it miserably failed. I mean, seeing the progress in the last few months has really drawn a lot more pilots into the sim, back from when everybody argued and nothing got done. I think it has been a rather genuine effort on the behalves of the community and the developers to improve the title. I think, within the next official patch I will have very few problems actually flying a full combat mission or the campaign without crashes/freezes and lag.
