I have changed your first post to include the recent download links available for
you final release of this ship. Just so people dont get confused why the old link was not working.

HSFX6 already has earlier versions of Tennessee and Colorado included.
If installing these new versions then look for the existing text entries in ships.ini

Disable the lines for extra guns which appear after the line //Hsfx Multi Turret

Otherwise you will see the ships in FMB but they will be frozen when you run the mission.
The alternative if you are to keep the Mullti-Gun Turret function is to add Shellstart Hooks to the relevant Gun*.msh files, instead of disabling the lines in ships.ini

Make these changes to the msh files

Gun1.msh
Code: [Select]
[Hooks]
ShellStart1 <BASE>
ShellStart40 <BASE>

[HookLoc]
1 0 0   0 0 1   0 -1 0   14.03  0 1.2  //rot X -90    x dim is length of barrel
1 0 0   0 0 1   0 -1 0   14.03  0 -1.2  //rot X -90    x dim is length of barrel

Gun2.msh
Code: [Select]
[Hooks]
ShellStart2 <BASE>
ShellStart41 <BASE>

[HookLoc]
1 0 0   0 0 1   0 -1 0   14.03  0 1.2  //rot X -90    x dim is length of barrel
1 0 0   0 0 1   0 -1 0   14.03  0 -1.2  //rot X -90    x dim is length of barrel

Gun3.msh
Code: [Select]
[Hooks]
ShellStart3 <BASE>
ShellStart42 <BASE>

[HookLoc]
1 0 0   0 0 1   0 -1 0   14.03  0 1.2  //rot X -90    x dim is length of barrel
1 0 0   0 0 1   0 -1 0   14.03  0 -1.2  //rot X -90    x dim is length of barrel

Gun4.msh
Code: [Select]
[Hooks]
ShellStart4 <BASE>
ShellStart43 <BASE>

[HookLoc]
1 0 0   0 0 1   0 -1 0   14.03  0 1.2  //rot X -90    x dim is length of barrel
1 0 0   0 0 1   0 -1 0   14.03  0 -1.2  //rot X -90    x dim is length of barrel

Making changes like these to the main guns balances the relative power of ships with multiple gun turrets compared with say single gun turrets.

Changes to the Tennessee are similar except the turrets have three guns rather than two.

===================================================================================================

I just looked at the drawings and some photographs of the below ships:

Wyoming Class had 12 x 12" guns [six twin gun turrets] Wyoming BB32 [primary guns removed and was training ship during ww2] & Arkansas BB33

Nevada Class  had 10 x 14" guns [two triple gun turrets (lower) two twin gun turrets (higher)]  Nevada BB36 & Oklahoma BB37     Only class that had gun turrets for the main battery with two different configurations.
Pennsylvania Class had 12 x 14" guns [four triple gun turrets]  Pennsylvania BB38  & Arizona BB39
Tennessee Class had 12 x 14" guns [four triple gun turrets]  Tennessee BB43  & California BB44
Colorado Class had 8 x 16" guns [four twin gun turrets]  Colorado BB45 & and Maryland BB46 & West Virginia BB47

You are quite correct Mailman. I was mixing it up with the Nevada Class

Now Gofo's ships on the other hand use a different mat name, SailorUSo.mat
That will not work for 3dgunners=0
To fix  rename to Sailor1o.mat
and in every Head*.msh file search for SailorUSo and change to Sailor1o
This will appear multiple times in each Head* file.

USS Colorado works good in 4.12.2/SAS ModAct 5.30.
Also there is no need to replace default US Genetic Battleship with this one as it is requested in instructions.
Both ships work together without problems.

USS Colorado fights against IJN BB Nagato.

Well there kind of is a reason to replace the US Generic Battleship.

Even though they both work in the game, take a good look at the generic US battleship.  The game used the King George V for the generic US battleship.  No US battleship ever had the main battery configuration found on the generic US battleship.   The game has been around long enough for this to be corrected in the stock game, but hasn't.
