Ok so today while working in FMB i was making a short mission for a vid im doing with the P-47D 27 with my custom skin and the mission only contains my lone P-47 as me as pilot with an ai flight of 3 47's that are to takeoff and land, and i tested and it played fine however when i went back to FMB and wanted to change the 47's to 109's FMB kind of locked up, but i can still move the mouse and move around the map, and still be able to go file, edit ect to leave but it only happens with the P-47D 27 any other plane and it works fine and im puzzled because it was working fine yesterday and today with the 47D 27. And before anyone asks yes iv removed my skin, restarted pc, and i have HSFX 5.1 installed with some effects mods but thats it, also does it on every map

Me too. I have it with the Wellington MKIII, Ju 52 bomber, and the  Bf 109 B-Ds. It happens when I try to change a paint scheme, select the plane, or try to put the player in it.

From my experience, if you click "show" once to see a preview of the plane in the type tab before you place it on the map, and especially before you click on the plane tab the error won't happen. You have to know your trouble planes though. Then, sometimes I forget and get trapped in the broken window as well.
Anyway, it has nothing to do with your install, it's a plane bug.

PS: I am sure you already know this, but just in case: When it happens and you get trapped in that window, right click on the map, press U,
then hit ALT+F, then press E and you will be back in the main game screen. Need to exit and restart Il-2 before going back to FMB then.

yep, it's known as the FMB bug, and happens with a handful of planes.
simply avoid making FMB edits with those particular planes, rather edit the text manually in the .mis file.

There is a 'FMB fix' mod released that addresses this problem.
