TreeLightMask = Trees\LightM256.tga
I found this line in many other recent maps.
I do not think the problem comes from the presence or absence of this file. Otherwise you would have many more errors with other maps!

Yep, I confirm that... Just tried your proposal, Agracier, no luck, still getting "MAP2D missing in load.ini" (SAS ModAct3.6 setup)

Costas, I had the same:

About the textures:
I checked the texs line for line, I had all in the correct paths.
But "MAP2D missing" still appears.

But then I wondered why new Karelia map folder has less files then the old Karelia map folder.. (ie Winter static), so I copied only the missing files of old karelia map folder to new the one then it loads and also saving missions worked.

No idea wheter this is correct or not,
so Kapteeni can you please check if there
are some maps files missing in the dl link?



I will check all the files once again.
It hard or even impossible to promise that this or any other map work with every possible Install.
But it works for DBW 1.6 modpack which already has old version of maps.
This map and all maps that i make will be using DBW 1.6 or newer, when 1.7 comes out someday.

Im on ipad, but i will edit my first post and make maps status to beta when open my PC.
I have included huge megapack of textures too. Link is at first post.
Hint:
Please, use Shift+ Tab buttons and post reports here, so ican see, what's missing.
I can't help, if users only tells that map will not load, because of map2 error.

SAS ModAct 3.6 does not have old Karelia map as a default maps. You need to wait untill i check all the texturefiles and make a new ag_kt_Karelia 1.1 version.
Send shift+ Tab report here. It will helpme a lot.

This counts for UP 2.01 with Histomod as well it seems. (My install at least  ;) :D)

I'm uploading new version right now.
It has been tested with absolutely clean install without any other maps or textures installed.
And it works!
Karelia map 1.0 version is made about an year ago and if you have all the objects for version 1.0. this will work with any install.

I tested it with my ModdAct 2.5 (or something... old anyway) and it works!

I found my old FSHX version and map works with that too...
The thing was that i din't include the ag/Spain folder on first Download..
Karelia needed one or two textures from that folder..
It is now included. It will solve Gcagans problems i'm sure and Tom2:s too.

This IS the first map that looks like Finland what comes to geography..
Of course IL2 has limitations and satellitedata too.

About. load.ini of 1.1 version. We have now included all the textures to _Tex/ag and it's subfolders for winter, summer and autumn maps.
Only few deafult Il2 textures are somewhere else like water and ice.tga's
And about map_F... Does someone still run IL2 on excellent?
Map_f is not hard to make, though...I migh tconsider that to future updates.

To Gcagan an others who haven't managed to get map working before:
Any news?
Also. I know that there is few airfields that have water on runways......they will be corrected as well as houses/villages on water.
Please report bugs and i do my best to make map even better.
(most important map in IL2 for me)
