RedEye_Jir,

Ok, I installed your map, strapped on a Spitfire and flew a cross country from Souk el Abra to Bone and back, on a misty morning in November 1942. I thank you very much for this great map ;D. Also, I thank you for including the airfield on Pantelleria Island.

I had no difficulties with installing your map. Note, it works well in DBW 1.7.1.

Cheers,

Riptide

Hi red Eye Junior,

Usually I'm not much into desert med maps.

However when I saw the video I was really impressed with your populating and texturing   :D ;) :)

Recently watching W.W 11 in HD the part about the African and Med Wars I just had to download it.

Watched Luftwaffe Stukas bomb the beejesus out of Malta.

Very surprised that the island held out with a few Glads and then eventually Spits  ;D :D

Great wouk on the populating and texturing  ;D :D

Cheers kirby

Amazing map, thank you. But one problem, i can't load the map in the ZipNavprogram (map_F.tga won't pack).
Using UP 3.0 RC 4 Patch 4.10.1m.

Thanks again

Map looks great!  :)

Can i ask which mod you are using to get such nice desert skins for vehicles that are shown in the Vid? and are there any QMB's available or planned, or any missions campaigns?

Thanks for all the hard work

Cheers Dakpilot

**EDIT** Do i have to register at rapidshare to download or has the link expired? Cheers!

... looks like those vehicles are Wingflyer's mod ...

... and you'll find Italian vehicles here !

Thanks for the links Mick, I have DBW1.7 with all the packs and Wingflyers vehicle repaints but i still get grey fuel trucks and other vehicles not showing up with desert skins...i've probably done something wrong, no worries  ;)

Thanks

I don't think you did something wrong, I myself also only have the grey German fuel truck, and saw its sand camo version in the video, checked the relevant folder in my 4.09 game and found no desert camo for that truck ...  ::)

I however managed to activate desert camos for other Wingflyer's vehicles simply by creating the missing info in the Technics.ini, provided of course that such a desert camo exists ...

MeshSummer   3do/Tanks/M4A2/Summer/hier.him      // full filename of mesh
MeshDesert     3do/Tanks/M4A2/Desert/hier.him  // optional (if missing, MeshSummer will be used)
MeshWinter                   // optional (if missing, MeshSummer will be used)
