even slow airplanes are fun to fly in the IL2! I also like this little airplane and the
L5 Stinson. They are great for adventure flying to see the new maps and also for crazy
dog-fights with superior airplanes. They have a dificult time shooting  you down.

With a hex editor (I use HEdit) you can easily read the contents of the encrypted file Class!

I may be wrong, but I believe Ranwers already created a new cockpit for this airplane, he
just has not made it available yet. Not sure of the reasons why. Perhaps he must still be working on it.
He is a very busy artist.
We will wait for his good news.

Hi, yes! Unfortunately I am not around here much, but I know it would be much faster for someone talented enough in the area of cockpits to add the additional gauges, but such modders who have the free time are in high demand. I think it would be less than a few days for one of the professionals around here to do the fiddling and get something more than acceptable out the door. Rawners was not too inclined to release the non functioning cockpit, as much as we'd love it regardless.

When I try to start IL2 with DiffFM 4.10 installed and your mod I get a CTD and the following Logentry:
"sFMDir = bu-181_fm
s1 = flightmodels/181.fmd
s = FlightModels/181.fmd:Bu-181_FM
m_lastFMFile = gui/game/buttons
getting fm file bu-181_fm
Main begin: null" -> CTD
after "getting fm file bu-181_fm" the class (FlightModelMain) intends to load the bu-181_fm file and fails, but the file is in
\MODS\<myModname: 00_NewAdd_Aircraft>\
Any suggestions ?
Btw, Why is bu-181_fm so large and contains many different .FMDs ?
