I'm finally learning to use the Schräge Musik cannons effectively and I can say that fuel tanks of those US heavies catch fire pretty nicely when hammered by cannon shells from below. There is also so much more surface to hit than from behind and defensive gunners don't seem as effective either compared to attacks from above or behind.

Thanks a lot to Kashiide for modeling one of my favorite planes! I'm really looking forward to the real cockpit.

I have the idea - maby some modder could increase the number of variants for this aircraft armament, (like adding new 20mm and 12.7mm guns):

Ki-45 KAIa
    Toryu: Two-seat fighter Type 2 of Army (Mark A) initial model of series, one 20mm Ho-3 and two Ho-103 12.7mm in the nose and a flexible 7.92mm in the back position.
Ki-45 KAIb
    retrofit version based on the KAIa, two Ho-103 12.7mm in the nose and 20mm belly cannon replaced by a 37mm type 94 field gun and a flexible 7.92mm in the back position.
Ki-45 HEI
    the 20 mm cannon, and an automatic 37 mm (1.46 in) gun in the nose and a flexible 7.92mm in the back position.


"The first production type (Ko) was armed with two 12.7 mm (.50 in) Ho-103 machine gun in the nose, a single Type 97 20 mm cannon in the belly offset to the right, and a trainable 7.92 mm (.312 in) machine gun in the rear cabin, and this was followed with the Otsu with the lower 20 mm cannon replaced by a 37 mm (1.46 in) type 94 tank gun, to counter B-17 Flying Fortress bombers. Sorry, this plane continues to cause me trouble with crashes (in 4.10). It has nothing to do with the Java Memory limit I checked it. This may be because you work with SAS mod activator and not DBW.

For IL4 we just tell me that we should not put a prefix in the name of the file.
It's a habit I have ... but disrupts DBW!
Try removing "_06__" in the folder name of the plane!
