Tennesse, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and now hinted at Nevada class? Real Pacific war can finally come to IL-2, especially with Asheshouse's Yorktown too

looking Great  :)  I  am not even remotely knowledgeable on US Navy paintschemes, but for Pearl Harbour 1941, is Measure 1 Dark Gray 5-D  a bit more accurate for Arizona?

A vast and intersting subject though  :o

Looking forward to this model!

I also have limited knowledge on the subject but I have read that the BB's were repainted in PH Blue in November 41. So your reference maybe correct for most of 1941 but not in December. Gofo knows much more than me on this subject.

But its a subject that engenders heated debate amongst some.

I like the idea that she was in mid-repaint at the time of the attack  :) so on that note i will bow out, and leave it to the experts, one of which i am certainly not  ;)

At least there does not seem to be a wrong answer lol  :)

Thanks to all those in the shipbuilding business!

hi mates,
sorry for the delay, don't worry, the Arizona is still alive ;). Just the damaged model to finish and she will be floating.
To Dakpilot: MS1 was widely used in late 1941, and all the major ships of the Atlantic Fleet wore that Measure, but, as Ashe wrote, the Pacific Fleet big vessels started to be repainted replacing the 5-D with the PH blue more or less a month prior to the Pearl Harbor attack. https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,17852.msg203797.html#msg203797

My regards
