Well i got it working in a weird way i only installed the mod activator alfha 0.001 files parts of it the names of them are FILES,il2fb,wrapper.dll,then i install my jsgme program the one i had already download before the one from the jsgme site.It made a mods folder like normal like it do jsgme then i put the Diff FM 4.11 in that mods folder then i tryed it out mods work now but max effects works but dont work what i mean when i put it in the mods folder i dont even have to activated it it works like if i did but theres something wrong only one thing i see all other stuff in it works great the 50 cal guns have no sounds only a little bit inside nothing outside to hear.But i did find a smoking 50 cal guns mod that works great and the mod TBD Devastator Flyable, works i just put in mods folder like normal and i have catahoulak9 Reticles JA a6mv3,works im still trying to find smoke & fire startup engines mod.I try to install sounds of the 50 cals guns from another mods but dont work same nothing.And i have to take the whole Max Effects mod out of the mods folder delete it or it stays activated.All seems good except Max Effects mod are there anyway to get the 50 cal guns sounds to work anybody any ideas.I still want all the great effects of Max Effects mod in my game.I dont get it i install my game the right way patches in order i just dropped the Mod Activator Alfha in the il-2-46 folder i put the Diff.FM 4.11 in the MODS folder and i put in the Mods files stuff in the folder that say jsgmemods it was only way to see the mods in the jsgme to activated them it did say it activated them but would nothing worked in my game.But i got a fix to do me abit till i try to install that way again one these days.I did install the beta ver.first then i just install the Alfha one i took out deleted the MODS folder that came with it had folders inside named Maps & STS are those files important my game works fine without them.

For me every mod goes into D:\games\IL-2 4.11\IL-2 Sturmovik - 1946\MODS folder. I don't use jsgmemod folder, nor have the desire too. Only a MODS folder inside the main IL-2 file. I can't help if there in any other folder other then 'MODS'. Did you copy over the SAS_DBW files?

What is the SAS_DBW files i dont have no SAS_ DBW files i have steam il-2-46 install do that make a diff.and where did you install the diiff fm 4.11 i left it in its folder then put it the mods folder then i activated it.what is SAS_DWB & what is the stuff in the mods folder STS,mapmods & the diff fm 4.11 what this stuff do.

Well if you look back on page 1, post #1 I clearly said:

"I also have NOT tested with stock 4.11. ALL tests was with 4.11 (tons mod activator with only stock 4.11 planes) & mounted sas/up3-rc4/DBW 1.6 files into 4.11 game."

If you've done this, then the sounds/visual effects will be there.

In D:\games\IL-2 4.11\IL-2 Sturmovik - 1946\FILES ( or where ever you have your 4.11 game) you'll see an 'rc' file.

You'll need to grab all the files from SAS_DBW, sasup,up_xx,updbw_xx files from uprc3/dbw1.6 and copy those files
into your 4.11 game main folder. If you don't have them, its downloadable in this forum, DBW discussion & Up3 discussion.

then you go back to D:\games\IL-2 4.11\IL-2 Sturmovik - 1946\FILES ( or where ever you have your 4.11 game) 'rc' file.

and write these files in it at save:

Make sure every file you see here is in your main 4.11 game, otherwise you'll CTD. Its long and tedious work, but everything ( except for some russian tanks) will work. Hopes this helps.

Hi i have 4.11m version to fly online and  I installed this mod with mod activator but when I try to activate the mod with JSGMe, no mod appear in the list.

Help please !!!

I never tried activating with JSGM. I put everything in my MODS folder. And to answer your PM, I never tried it online either.

No, you need modact for all mods. That's why it's called mod activator ;)
