Hi!

I'm in the way to study the building of self made campaign for the great Lowengrin DCG and I'm wondering if is possible to still have air activity but immobilized front at ground after one part have reached it's historically limit.

I try to explain better:

Take for example the rush for Madrid in the late 36 , we have that the Nationalist have reached the city limit before to be stopped at ground so Franco start a massive air offensive to win the battle without success....

Any tip about how make it possible?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Maybe the roadblockon command in the timetable can solve my needs....

Hi walter!
The "RoadBlockON" command does not always work properly in a campaign!
In the case of time-dependent battles I would always create new routes and units especially for the respective battle, which you can spawn and delete at date!

Sorry, a bit late but hope it helps though! :-X

Thanks for your reply mate!

Above all thanks for your work on DCG and the last version you just released!!!

BTW-Thanks for the escort timetable command!!!

About my question no problem!

The only reply that arrive in late is the never arrived one!  :)

Thanks for your suggestion about new route and units....so I should add dedicated 3 point route without main route connection , without troops and supply and add there unit and supply at the statement day in timetable?

All the best!

Hi,
I have personnally nothing to do with the participation and release of DCG! It's all the work of Paul Lowengrin!

Your example Madrid:
In this case you can make two subcampaigns with it!
First subcampaign: Normal route (more than 3 points, at least 6 points) with some locations in it, that ends near Madrid and with supply locations for each party on both route ends!
When the attacker reached a location near Madrid (endcampaigns.dcg: Endlocation), start of the second subcampaign with the airbattle and without moving ground units!

OOPPSSSS!!!!

In my illness I'm a little mind fogged!!!

I merged a bit the nicknames....my apologize for the DCG reference but about DCG you have done anyway a GREAT job really!

Now I understand what you mean: first subcampaign end as Nationalist reach Madrid and second start with only the air struggle over the city....

BTW - If you remember my SCW project your memory is loooong way better than mine!!!!

Thanks a lot for your unvaluable help!!!!

All the best!
