hi crazy and u all: explanation is quite easy and the mod comes with a good readme inside.
As I posted previously my only problem is to undersatnd the way the "weather set" works and I even sent an e-mail to Zloy about the subject but got no answer....
I use the 4.3 version of this mod which allows for the "prop Wash" effect to work so that in a radius of about 70 meters from behind an AC you really feel the turbulence (from propeller) generated by the other (or others) ACs. Stick jerks quite a lot and the same happens also when u cross your own prop wash if you turn inside your turn!
Back to installation, once u drops the mod in your MODS folder then all u have to do is open a mis.file, whatever of course, QMB missions of course too, and add at the bottom a (weather) section which has 5 parameters: 1)direction in degrees, 2)strenght in m/s, 3)height max at which u still feel turbulence & gusts in meters, 4)turbulence in a scale from 1 to 6, 5) gusts in a scale from 1 to 6. (examples are contained in the readme)
when u are done and start the game, that same missionwill be affected by these added parameters: with 10 m/s wind maybe a cross wind u see and feel your Ac pointing to the wind so that take off should take into account this powerful effect and the torque one of course.
once in the air u have to struggle with wind gusts and turbulence and better is if coupled with "6DOF Tracker 2 sHr": to this u have then prop wash and I swear u: a dogfight with all this effects combined (adding maybe "poor weather also) cockpit and stick jerking and shaking all the time, turbulence , cross winds and so on and u have a "REAL" idea about what is flying and fighting (or doing aerobatics...) with a real plane!
Only negative side for me, is to edit every mission before starting the game: so to prevent me to "know" before what is going to happen in a mission I´m going to fly, I use to open randomly some of the missions I have in my different folders and adding parameters also randomly (not too extreme usually...).
Ok gents, hope this can give u an idea!
