Hi Gents!
i want to present some new version of my mod :)
i dont post links to previous version, because i think you hear about it :)

In few words- for player wind dont depend of speed or Gears.onGround. Gusts  are smooth now.This version i send to DT.
After updates, I think it is a great version of mod.
main theme of this mod is quality and stability work. i remove all elements, which has low quality; or have some suspicion about working.



Version  4.0 include now

wind depend's by altitude by special law a)if alt > 10.0m:
wind velocity determine by this: 
V = Vo * (H / Ho)^a
b) if alt <10.0m
V=Vo*  (H + 10.0F)/ 20.0F)
where: V0=speed at 10m;
H=altitude,where we seek speed velocity
a= 0.14

smooth windgusts:
randome windgust's simply depends on altitude: gust=(1000-alt)/1000*gust at sea level
example: if gust at sea=20m/s,at 500m it will be 10m/s,and at 1000m gust=0m/s

there are turbulance and windgusts in clouds
it depends on type of weather and cloudtype

turbulance:
if you want, you can add turbulance from the sealevel till 450m( if turb> 5).

thermal on summer maps till 10 to 16 o'clock above land(no above water)

 new big clouds with default texture (with fps boost)


simplify model of gusts and turbulence for AI

new correct flight dynamic at ground:
velocity dont depend on speed, so if you staing at ground wind  acted on your plane; I needed added an critical angle of sliding, correct some laws in code, added fuselage to  calculates as an independed body etc.

added prop sailing force, cause at 0 speed propeller acts as a sail.

prop wash tail was removed.



some notes:

about taxing and parking planes. If velocity more then 25-30m\s some planes turned against the wind. It is because some planes have uncorrect square of fin. So, if you want to park and fix you plane you must  push brakes, and, when planes stops- push up brakes. Plane will be fixed ? here it is a video with example of parking me109f with 25 m\s.

v4.1- some upgrade of 4.0- added something about prop tail: vibrations around plane in radius 75m, because people ask. this version can give problems analogical v 2.0-3.1.so, if you haven't problems- use v4.0 :)

Thanks for posting :) So from what I gather, turbulance and wind gusts have been tuned so they are less erratic, have less of an effect on AI formations and prop wash has been remove/diminished?

If so, thats great :)

yes, gust are smooth.

hm...it is an another effects for AI...AI have simply turb and gusts.
prop wash has been remove/diminished?
yes. v4.0 are without it.

I installed this on unmodded SAS game and it doesn't seem to make any difference.Has anyone tried this and what did you do to make it work? 90% certain that I am somehow the problem.

Can you explain the thermals a little? Do they just create turbulence, or is there a vertical component also, i.e., will climb rate increase when you fly through them? Do they coincide with the clouds?
