Don't know if my download is corrupt, but I can't locate the 'DBW AIMOD' folder in the downloaded jsgmemods folder.

Herr OberstDanjeje, thank you for your support.  :)
You were right. The problem was with this mod: "GEAR damage DBW_Wolfigther&czk_beta"

I understand that but my question is - is there supposed to be 'DBW-AIMOD' folder in the 1.7 download

As I have read in accompanying texts, new AI mod is integrated into 1.7 , so it is not there anymore as a separate mod.

What do you mean by "bug-explosion"?

Fantastic job with DBW 1.7 but I have a little problem PAL 6DOF doesn't work at all and I have to enable #DBW_6dofTrackIR_ClassFiles or my game crashes at 95%

"What do you mean by "bug-explosion"?"

It means explosion of all planes by start. Its very frequently problem in campaigns. Didn't you know? ;-)

Good job on 1.7. I installed a completely new and clean unmodded version of 1.6 and then updated it to 1.7. Worked like a charm and all seems well as far as I can tell.

Now comes the personalization by adding all the mods I'm familiar with, all the new planes. Now I am wondering what the best way is to proceed on this.

Either install all the mods and stuff I would one by one into the clean 1.7 install? Or is it safe to try a time-saving, for lazy persons like me, update of my old 1.6 version in one go? The install notes apparently say yes, but a few of the members here seem to be experiencing ctd's in doing that ...

Any good advice either way?

I installed 1.7 over a modded version 1.6 and had CTD at 60%.
Disabled all mods in #DBW except of course XTD and STD. Game starts as if nothing happened.....   :D ;D :-*
Am now in the proces of enabling one mod at a time to find the culprit.

Hail to Anto, Storebror, CirX, Lutz & HaDeS.
