Allied ground crew figures
« on: February 02, 2012, 05:06:50 PM »

I'd do this myself if I knew how. :-\  I've seen the excellent German version but haven't seen an Allied version.
It would add a bit of immersion to the airfields.  I've tried using the unarmed soldier figures at the end of the Objects list which is....meh, OK but they are very blocky etc.
Here are some examples of what I mean.......

Well, I've downloaded GMax as well as some free 3d figures and I've managed to get one male figure's suit to the RAF colour and even managed to bend an arm (before screwing it up completely ???)  I'm learning as I go.....slowly.... but I'm hoping to add boots and a wedge cap etc.  As to making any figure acceptable by the game......haven't a clue how to do that but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. LOL.
Having said that, I wouldn't be upset if an experienced modder beat me to the punch! ;)
