H8K1 Emily cockpit
« on: February 07, 2012, 09:16:52 AM »

Hi guys!

I've found a bug with the Kawanishi H8K1 'Emily' cockpit. Everything is fine until the aircraft receives some damage. After taking a couple of hits it seems you can see part of the exterior model's interior (if you know what I mean). You can even see your dead co-pilot! I know the H8K1 uses the Mitsubishi G4M-11 cockpit, but luckily the G4M-11 doesn't suffer from this bug. It seems to be H8K1 specific. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be great, because this aircraft is great for torpedo runs!  :)

I couldn't replicate this one mate.  DBW 1.71, ran the H8K1 too close to a U-Boat in order to get shot up, even set it on fire, can't get it to look weird.

Well, even negative data is data...

One other thing, our cockpits don't look identical either, lamps and engine gauges look different.

I did, he's right. The bug exists. (But using DBW, we have indentical cockpits)

Thanks for the reply guys! :)

Yes, I've found this almost always happens after taking a certain number of hits and switching to an external view while receiving more hits.
I'm not sure if switching views exacerbates this bug or if it's just a coincidence, but that's how it usually happens.

Here's a screenshot of the bug using a clean DBW 1.71 install with the same standard cockpit you guys have...

Any ideas?
